Even though Wright is young, he’s the Mets career hits leader. Also everyone in NY loved him.

The only person I’d replace him with would be Strawberry. I believe the careers of the other guys over shadow Carters contribution to the Mets.

TBH I thought he had a better career as a Met than that. He did help them win in ‘69

I should not have added him.

You go through the list of their greats and you wonder how this franchise has only won a couple WS
