2022 NL East Division Champ NYM head into Atlanta 1.5 games up on the Braves. Mad Max vs Fried on the bump tomorrow. Big time series halfway through the season. Polar Bear, Lindor, Nimmo and (hopefully) Marte all show who the superior players are at their relative positions....Mets leave Wednesday night with a clean sweep. #LFGM

The Braves have the best lineup in baseball 1-9. Max is throwing tomorrow night so that's advantage Mets (I guess), but I would expect Atlanta to take 2 of 3.

The Braves have a chance to erase what was a 10 game deficit on June 1 before the All Star break. That is pretty incredible.

Great turnaround, sorta similar to 1993 season.
Braves were 9.5 games back from Bonds and SF Giants.
They made a trade for Fred McGriff. Along with a pressbox fire, offense, team took off, eventually passing the Giants for a 3rd straight division title.
This 2022 team took off with the call up of Michael Harris along with inserting Spencer Strider in the starting rotation.
From 10.5 games out, to now 1.5 out.
Braves were 9.5 games back from Bonds and SF Giants.

I was 9 and we were on our way back from Six Flags. We knew the Braves had won but found out San Fran lost at home to the shitty Marlins on the drive home giving us the division (and there was no wild card yet).
