I remember before the game when the Pelicans thrashed the Rockets in New Orleans, Dwight spent the vast majority of warmup time shooting deep 3s. Why wouldn't you be working on things that you might actually use in a game. Pivots, hooks, short jumpers? Nope, he's in front of me shooting 3s.

Sure you can play him at the 5. But I'd like to see him paired with someone who is known for being a +defender +O-Reb, so you don't have to make KP do the dirty work and see if he be better in a larger Offensive role.
RoLo was 2nd in O-Rebs last year, and a +defender at the C position, so you can let KP roam on the lesser Post-player can come in for those Weakside Blocks ala J-Smoove

Howard avg 60% from the field during his time in Houston. He averaged half the turnovers Harden did. Was he the superman that people hoped no, but he did produce a double double nearly every night.
Leaving him in to miss free throws late is on the coach. You have to weigh the benefit. I was at that abortion of a playoff game where each team fouled either Dwight or Lamarcus on either side of the court the whole 4th quarter. The league should do something to deter it as it made the game unwatchable.
Harden is one of the laziest defenders I have ever seen. He mopes, gives up, and bitches behind the scenes. I'm worried with no defense D'Antoni, a shitty defense last year with Dwight, how bad it will be next year. Free agency better find some bigs/defenders or next year is going to be a long year.

These neo 5s are about to take over the league,imo.
as far as OReb, I think you might be better off with transition D as a focus....but If Love and KP are on the court together, Love is very much in the low post gathering boards while KP is stretching.
The Stretch 5 is rare. A wise team exploits that. KP is a stretch 5 with superstar potential as a two way player. The bangers might be relegated to the bench/20 mins a game.

In the long run that's the biggest issue. Carmello seems like he's been good for him but bringing in two more guys with big entourages? Feels like asking for a circus in New York.
Does Dwight actually want to mostly rebound and play defense? If he does that's new.
