He is mashing in that video. He still has a weird tick. I would love watching him face a talent at pitcher.

Kumar Rocker was a huge hype last summer. And he's still bigger and more physically gifted than pretty much everyone else. You're talking about a 6'5, 250-pound kid that throws 95-98. He may not be top ten but I also wouldn't count it out yet.

Not as much as when he was 15 and the same size he is now, but its all semantics. He went from the undisputed #1 pick in 2018, to not even the best prospect in the state of Georgia.

I don't think he ever was that. He never had the Harper or even Strasburg level of hype.

That is a bizarre double tap he does with his back foot. As if he is looking for leverage and pushing off his back foot the way a quarterback does when he throws.

I want to see him in game action as well. Obviously, people who know alot more than me have seen him and are willing to offer scholarships and talk about him as a cant miss prospect.

In the videos I watched, HR contests, he looked like he had a long swing...maybe that is his just his HR derby swing.

And his power is impressive in the videos

It actually seemed to be worse/more exaggerated in the videos where he’s a few years older. And it’s throwing his back leg out of alignment with his front leg. That can’t be good.

Sounds more like Prince Fielder

ETA: There are stories of Prince blasting upper deck HRs in old tiger stadium at age 12...from both sides

I think the issue is that he's coming off his back leg really early. He looks kind of unstable. Fine hitting batting practice. Not so good trying to hit real pitchers.

13 Years Old @ 18U Wood Bat Tourney

It's not as noticeable in a game but I didn't see any quality footage of him that gave a good view of his feet in game

Kid needs to lay off the cheeseburgers

He looks like the a-hole prospect in Trouble with the Curve

But with a name like Blaze I'm sure he will be plenty hateable

It's an estimate based on where the ball lands and how high it was hit.

That's how they used to do it. Much more scientific now. All about exit velocity, launch angle, and wind speed

If the kid is that big I worry about his long term health.

With a name like Blaze, and being from south Mississippi, you know he has parents that are pure travel ball trash.
