so what you want them to give up on the developing talent they have. PLus you can't deny Cooley and Davis are a heck of a TE duo.

Yeah dumping salary is different than just trading talent.

Not really, the Eagles basically dumped salary here. McNabb had a big contract this season and would be a Free Agent after next year if I remember correctly. If they didn't trade him, they'd pay him a large amount and then lose him with nothing to show for it. Now they lose his contract and got something in return. So they're getting 2 draft picks for 1 year of McNabb.

I think it's a good move for both teams. The Eagles can finally start building for the future, and the Redskins get a good quarterback who immediately makes them better. As someone who hates, HATES dallas, I'm happy for both teams.

any chance the skins drop a few spots in the 1st round to gain a pick back.. but still have a 1st rounder?

If Okung is gone maybe but they may like Bryan Bulaga and you have the problem of would there be a team willing to trade up.

to be honest the number of TE's that can block is getting smaller and smaller.

where did i say i want them to give up??

neither kelly or thomas have showed much

they really need to step up in a huge way, esp if McNabb is just a 1 year rental. Or they need to go out and sign a WR

Now, the Skins just need to go after Brandon Marshall. He's available and obviously has a connection to Shanahan. They certainly can't get anyone like him in the draft.

Actually McNabb might not be staying in Washington, some serious shite could go down before the draft.

I'm calling it now. The Eagles will finish last in the NFC East.

Not a chance. Too good on D. Too good on O.

This gives the Eagles the ammo to move into the top 10 according to Draft Pick Value charts. Will they? I'm not sure.

But they probably have their eye on DE if they do because they are set at every other position that is top 10 worthy.

Unless they trade their 1st next year they don't have the ammo
