You're an idiot.
It's a totally different style. You can't go past four rounds in MMA because if you cover like a boxer, your arse gets slammed to the ground. You actually have to fight the entire time.
Boxing, especially Mayweather's style, allows you to pace yourself.

I would have love to have seen if Floyd could have knocked him out if the fight was only 4 rounds. That would be a better way to do this if it is going to be boxing

As someone who really isn't a follower of either sport, that is the main distinction I've always kept in mind. Helps to appreciate both disciplines for what they are. The comparisons are kind of silly--it's like NASCAR vs. Formula1

The fight was a lot better then I thought. I'm not a Floyd guy but he won and still undefeated at 40 can't take that away from him. Floyd was smart letting Conner burn all his energy early and he had him right where he wanted. I wish the ref didn't stop the fight. I would have like to see floyd win a fight with a knockout since I can't remember the last time he won doing that. Either way both men are paid and must be nice.
