Youre posting in a thread about texas' head coach on the TIGERRANT.
Posted on 4/8/17 at 3:50 pm to STRIPES
You mean the guy that the majority of the rant wanted to be the coach?
Posted on 4/8/17 at 4:08 pm to Rickdaddy4188
Well he's hired the best cords in the country and has a lot
Of ppl from other coaches to NFL scouts praising his practices. Oh and he's killing it on the recruiting trail and Herman is beating lockers and kissing kids.

After this past recruiting cycle I'm glad we didn't sign that bastard. Texas did horrible in recruiting. Say what you want about orgeron but he did a good job last season on short notice and dominated the bowl game. He killed it in recruiting and made some key upgrwdes that needed to be made in our coaching staff. Let him build his program then make a judgement. Coaching as a young head coach at ole miss at the time he did and coaching a program like lsu has right now are 2 different animals. If you cant grasp that concept then idk what to tell you.

Whether he fails at LSU or not, I don't know, but one thing is for sure: O could have done better than that without a sledgehammer.

I'd rather that cheeseball than a 55 year old career dline coach that wasnt even getting coordinator offers.

The balls it takes to shite on another team's HC when Ed Orgeron is our team's coach is amazing.
Proof positive you DON'T support the team or Orgeron. Please dont say you support the Tigers anymore if youre going to rail like this.
I suppose youd rather have kept Miles than go with O?

I pray to god that coach O has huge success here
That's what we all want.
That's what we should have all wanted with the last guy. But for some reason people couldn't get over the headset and wanted him to fail.

He's correct, it doesn't mean he doesn't support LSU.
There is only a portion of one fan base in all of college football that would take Orgeron over Herman. I'll let you guess who that fraction of a fan base is.

Not the point. Herman was NEVER coming here. Yes, we fked up the hiring process and ended up with CEO. Truthfully, I would have literally taken anybody to get Miles out of there.
Based on his off season moves, there is NO reason to believe....at least at this point....that O cant pull the right strings and make the program successful.

LSU maybe....but certainly not the football program.

WAT?? wanting him to fail means you would want lsu to lose. This is complete horseshite.
He was doing fine all by himself in the failing department.

And that cheeseball is getting destroyed in Texas by that dline coach...
Posted on 4/8/17 at 7:50 pm to Lord Orgeron
Damn dude if he's a whiny bitch what does that make you?
I mean you were correct about him being a whiny bitch but no need to throw a tantrum.
Rickdaddy got you worked up lmao!!

I would just ignore the idiot some people can't see passed their own nose and Rick is one of those people.
Nothing Rickdaddy says will stop LSU from winning lots of football under coach O so I don't even respond to his idiotic posts of "facts". There are facts that pertain and those that just don't, lots of his facts have zero meaning because so for O has been successful and if he's successful nothing he says or anyone says will matter one bit.

Amazing that beating a schedule full of Tulane, Uconn, Tulsa (barely), Lamar, Texas State, Cincy, etc. impresses you dolts.
While losing to SMU (got rolled), Memphis, and a mediocre Navy as well as losing to UCONN last year is just overlooked as just a sidenote.
By the way, Coach O salvaged a top 6 or 7 class in the nation and went into Texas and signed 6 of the Top 30 players in Texas and 2 of the Top 10 while The "kissing coach" Tom Herman was shut out and turned in a less than stellar class while both were in their 1st year as head coaches at their respective schools.
Also, Herman has been coaching in Texas at Houston for 2 seasons as head coach and supposedly has all these recruiting contacts. Well, it sure didn't translate to the bottom line did it.
Maybe the kids in Texas aren't as impressed with Herman and his staff as some alleged LSU fans seem to be. Lol.
DING DING DING we have a winner

Well we will see how much love you nimrods have for Hermie after he actually leads UT to the toilet next season.
For every "big win" Hermie had at UH I can give you a HUGE loss he had as well. In addition, beating OU isn't going to be looked at as an upset but something expected.
Good luck and you better go get your kissin' and huggin' now.

You don't have to be so mad just because the entire football world, outside of the biggest homers in our fan base, disagrees with you.
Herman is a better coach than Orgeron, it isn't really debatable. But it doesn't mean Orgeron can't win big here.

That's a fair post and I agree with fully.

The hypocrisy with some of you is astounding.
So when you were shitting on miles you didnt support the team or Miles?

Ill post what I please. The only people that have convinced themselves this hire was even an average hire are our AD and some lsu fans.
Could you ever imagine Bama hiring Ed Orgeron to run its defense, let alone the entire program?
quote:
I suppose youd rather have kept Miles than go with O?
Yes. I'd rather have kept the most successful coach in lsu history rather than hire a 55 year old career dline coach that has never run a successful side of the ball or a successful program.
Only a certain portion of lsu fans and our clown AD would take ed orgeron over Les miles.
Look what miles did at Oklahoma State
and look at what O did at Ole miss.
Oklahoma State was in a far worse situation than ole miss.

Yeah because it's an apples to apples comparison.
In the last 4 years Texas has 1 season above .500.
Recruiting has never been in question with O. We just fired an elite recruiter and great motivator.
