It's actually terrible for the sport and for the young players. They develop losing habits, the coach acts as a fill in the the next guy, ETc...

Good talent needs to win and needs good coaching. Their tank will mean nada if their guys keep playing losing basketball

Is the 2015 draft so loaded that it is worth tanking?

It would be really exciting if every team that missed the playoffs had the exact same chance of winning the lottery, and there was no fall back for the worst three teams (i.e. worst team being guaranteed the 4th pick at worst).

It isn't about that.

The 6ers plan is to tank forever until they find "the guy".

and yet people in philly are still fricking dumb enough to buy tickets. I get tanking, I get re-building through the draft. but what they're doing is river boat gambling. and it isn't working, and it's a disgrace to the NBA

They should relegate them to the Turkish league.

the 6ers have a better chance of defeating ISIS than winning 10 games this year

so yeah, deploy them to the Turkish league

I don't get why people care. Who cares if a bad team wins 20 games or wins 10?

It makes more sense than, say New Orleans, who is now in their third installment of "get a star player, build a borderline-contender around him, have one bad season, and then get pressured to send their star player to Los Angeles."

And the 76ers had a 9-73 season in the 1970s, I believe. A decade later, they had a championship.

The Pellies also play in the toughest division in basketball. If they we're in the East, the opinion of the front office would be drastically different. So keep that in perspective. The 6ers are terrible, IN THE EAST

on another note the mavs are so bipolar

went toe to toe with SA and maybe should have won. blew out the jazz by a lot, twice.... was in the process of blowing out Celtics until a 30 point lead diminished and won by 5....got blown out by the Trail blazers, was getting blown out by the Kings before coming back and winning.

now blowing out sixers by a whole lot

Are we truly positive Kentucky couldn't play with the sixers?

I think Parsons will grow into that roll after about 20 games. He looks like hes afraid to be aggressive. or maybe he just knows he's slow? Idk but it doesn't make sense how fluid he can be on the offensive side of the floor, and so clueless at times on the other

They will realistically have trouble getting to 70. That's 13 points (A fair number for any team) in the final 6 minutes. (They are exactly at 6:00 now.) Probably will finish up around 67 or 68 points.
