I hope you realize he is getting double and triple teamed while other people are barely being guarded on the Heat.
this
He's also passed up wide open fricking shots.

Yeah, Lebron has caught the ball at the 3 point line a few times with no one around him and immediately passed.

No...no he's not. Not at all. In fact he was just standing in the lane unguarded.
He's sitting on the wing away from the plays, an he's not trying to be involved. You aren't watching if you don't see that.

Other than the 3-4 wide open shots he's passed up.
Do you want him to just take every long jumper hoping you can call him LeBrick?

LeBron has had some WIDE open looks at the basket and he quickly passed the ball instead of taking the shot
Yeah. This is why he gets criticism.

some people just don't understand officiating. you are gonna have bad calls and some bogus calls. the refs are just human. you can't really look at one call and determine if it is a well called game. you look at consistency. if the refs are calling hand checking on one team and not the other, that's wrong. If they are calling one team for over the back on rebounds and not the other, then it is wrong.
If one team jumps over the other team's back 12 times while the other team only does it twice, it isn't unfair if all 14 are called. You have to look for consistency in the types of fouls that are called.
The other thing you hate to see is a questionable call at the end of a game that changes the out come of the game.
The refs have done a good job of not changing the end of games unnecessarily. They've done an incredibly horrible job of being consistent in the types of calls they make. both teams flop like crazy when on offense. But, they've given way more flop calls to the Mavs than the Heat.
Secondly, the charging/blocking fouls have been extremely one sided towards the Mavs.
On the other hand, the Heat have beaten the crap out of the Mavs (particularly Dirk, since virtually no one else drives at all) when they are driving to the basket with the Mavs getting very few calls while getting hacked. The Heat have gotten most of those calls.
Overall, there have been times when the officiating seems biased to both teams. In reality, it has just been horribly inconsistent. Calling a foul when Wade gets fouled on a drive and then not calling it when Dirk gets fouled on a drive is extremely frustrating.
And, it is much more frustrating for the players because they don't know what to expect and what type of game they can play and get away with.

Posted on 6/12/11 at 9:02 pm to ehidal1
Marion has the worst looking foul shot ever. But as long as he makes em, who cares?
