I went and looked at the mavericks sub Reddit last night. I had no idea how many European people were fans of the mavs only because of Luca. They will still have their base but they lost ALOT of sidewalk fans last night

They lost a lot of their base as well. The Mavs will never recover from this debacle of a trade.

I am not a Mavs fan but I sympathize with you. If my team did something like this I'd seriously consider ending it as well. These sort of trades just don't happen anymore in any league. It's insane.

NBA ratings are in the tank and they need a superstar in LA long term. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was cooked up by the NBA league office. If their GM doesn’t get fired over this he was forced to do it.

It's going to be more than double that by tonight.
This is a death knell for them. Us old enough to remember how bad they sucked in the 80's/90's pre-Dirk, this is what they are going back to.
