He was about as good as an nfl qb can be without touching greatness.

Really strong career, tho.

Will he find his way into a broadcast booth or does he have some small kids to take care of at home?

He should be a first ballot HoF'er but he probably won't be.

Dude is underappreciated AF.

Yeah you can thank his OC and HC for that.

Been watching him play since Boston College. Real shame he couldn't get it done, should have gotten a LA Rams deal.

Nope

He's rightly appreciated. People thought he was good, he got a MVP the year they were really good, he wasn't one of the all time guys during his era, no matter how good he was 28-3 is an inescapable mark on his career. If anybody dogged him out it was Falcons management at the end.

You're a Taints fan, of course your view is going to be skewed.

This is the only correct thing in your entire post.

Still remember his great comeback win against VT during that wild '07 season, followed by him blowing chunks all over the sideline

Bro, I'm being honest. He was very good but he's not Rodgers, Brady, Manning, or Brees. Those are the alltime guys in his era. He's got the MVP but he's also got the worst loss in the history of the sport. They'll probably put him in the Hall of Fame but not first ballot. He definitely deserves to be in over Eli though.

As a Saints fan I will respond to this even though it wasn't intended for me.

I am a Saints fan and I respect the hell out of Matt Ryan. I never felt comfortable with him at QB for the Falcons when the Saints played them even when we had Brees. Is he a hall of famer? I don't know I feel sometimes the bar is set too low nowadays to get in the hall. But 16 years playing at the level he did is strong. If they do put him in I won't argue. Congrats to him on a great career.
