Damn good question, there are several rumors and all were denied by the D'backs, but they would never say what it was he did. It was really weird, one day he's out of the booth and everyone figured he'd be back in a week or so, but nope he was never allowed back with the D'backs but he did do some national broadcasts for Fox.

If you get a DUI on a suspended license out here there is a mandatory minimum of 6 months in jail so he will AT LEAST serve that much time but I think that is all the time he will get.

The article I read about Grace was that, in addition to driving with a suspended license, he had disconnected the breath alyser (sp). Both of these are felony charges. That's why the long sentence.
Don't know about Sutton. The two stories are not related. The original rumor about Sutton was that he had contacted the Dodgers about the announcer position without telling the D Backs. I wasn't aware that Vin Scully was going to retire.

4 DUI's is nothing. If he is like most alcoholics he could have had 400. Just got caught 4 times.
