What do you think it’s about? He came out today and mocked the anthem policy put in place by the NFL to appease him to begin with.
Him needling this so hard doesn’t have dick to do with actually honoring the flag or patriotism. Anymore than the protests are dishonoring anyone or causing some kind of harm to this country’s moral fabric.

That's a little tone deaf. There are a great many people besides trump that didn't like the way the NFl was handling this situation. You don't have to agree with them to acknowledge they exist.

If Trump doesn’t push the issue I sincerely doubt you see much action on the NFL’s part.
They should take note from the NBA and how they’ve handled similar issues/protests. It certainly hasn’t hurt their top line.

Well, Trump wouldn't have pushed the issue is so many people weren't outspoken on it. he saw it as an opportunity because of the number of vocal people.
