Luka/Trae trade, what other trades did both teams win from?

Trying to recall where both teams ended up getting a good deal out of a trade? Baseball is a little different since you trade prospects for an established player to make a playoff run and hopefully win the World Series.

Eli Manning for Philip Rivers is one that comes to mind. . Shaq to Heat, both teams won more titles. Feel like I'm missing a huge trade.

The trade where the Gasol brothers were involved between LA and Memphis was a big one.

OKC Indiana trade was a good one for both although at this point only Sabonis remains.

Pretty sure both the lakers and pelicans are pretty happy with how the AD trade has turned out

Both teams can’t “win” a trade involving two players. If they did they’d have both “won” without the trade.

Dallas won the trade because they got the better player. The Hawks front office would swap back in a nanosecond. The Mavericks clearly won the trade, even with the extra pick.

This is the kind of take I expected to pop up here

You all are going to shite if Trae leads them to a title

Situations can be better for a player vs another and a change of scenery can also help with players. Teams are on different timelines as well. This isn’t a zero sum thing.

I don’t have a problem with Trae, he’s just on a better team. Atlanta would be better with Doncic.

Yep, many players have just needed a change of scenery to revitalize their career. It's no different if two teams trade.

Again, we’re talking about two rookie draft picks 6 months apart in age.

The Mavericks are at home watching Trae go off for 50 to take homefield advantage in the conference finals. Luka is only going to keep getting fatter. GFY

The standard trade that's always used to answer the question you asked is rivers for manning.

Players can represent the culture of a team and the way they want to build a team. Luka fits perfect in the culture of the Mavericks with the groundwork that Dirk set.
Don't worry. Nobody is saying your precious Luka is a bad player.

So are the Nets and the lakers. Does that make trae better than lebron and KD?

Eli Manning for Philip Rivers

Rivers was the better QB and was a top 5-7 QB for the better part of 12 seasons or so for the Chargers, but Manning had a couple of playoff runs that resulted in Super Bowls for the Giants.

Had to try and bring it back around to Lebron, dintcha? nobody cares what that primadonna racist is doing, NBA is flat out better without the LeBron/super team vacuum.

LeBron is old and hurt and KD F'd himself again trying to join another super team except this time with two giant vagines.

Trae is the present and the future, dwi

Luka is the better player; Mavs won the trade.

HOWEVER, I did not see this coming from Trae Young. It used to be a complete landslide, but now if someone wants to argue for Trae, I'll at least sit down and listen.
