Luka -23. Porzingis beefing with ownership. Are @dallastigers Mavs getting g-sweeped rd1?

The return of the g sweep. Luka seems to be on the side of his countryman. They have no bench. Is it time to blow up the roster for a full rebuild in Dallas?

Cuban has leveraged it all on his stars and his stars have been mediocre

There’s only one star in Dallas. KP is a third wheel at best these days on a contending team.

Had a bad game against a hungry Grizzlies team that wants the 8 seed bad, not time to panic

Luka may be the most tightly protected asset in the league.

That takes time and money to build.

makes matters worse is when they allocated a good bit of resources and money to a 2nd fiddle who has played only 40 games this year.

Luka whines more than the power steering on my 94’ Ford Taurus

Did I miss something? Every story I’ve seen is that Luka and KP seem to not like each other on a personal level.

ETA: Just saw that Porzingis said he was clueless about what Mark was talking about. Kind of odd timing. That comment was like two weeks ago.

Luka is like 20 isn’t he? Probably don’t need to blow it up

KP was a horrible deal. They got him for 3 years after this one and still have 100 million to pay him. They didn’t have to take such a huge risk when you have a guy like luke. Giving that money to KP is like what a lot of people thought Gordon Hayward to Charlotte was. It’s a deal of a team trying to do anything to gain some relevance.

no it doesn't... Every year a bunch of aging, but still useful players agree to take peanuts from LAL, LAC, NYK, BKN, etc..

Wrong. KP was in fact MORE injury prone than Hayward. And not as good as Hayward either. But Charlotte got crapped on for overpay, Dallas really didn’t.

LAL, LAC, BKN - contenders

what aging bench signed with NYK for minimum?
- Noel, Payton, and Bullock all signed for decent money
(Payton was 2/16, then signed a 1/5), Noel signed 1/5, and Bullock signed 2/8

unless you're talking about 35 year old Taj Gipson
