I just looked up their roster and every single player is a transfer. Most are from community colleges or JUCOs, but there’s also players from in-state colleges ULM, NSU, SLU, and La Tech.

Didn't they set a record for runs in a game and /or series? Over 3 games is was 97 to 6. Or some crazy shite like that.

When you win that many games, you are playing solid, nay, outstanding fundamental baseball. You aren't beating yourself. You make every routine play. You aren't wasting at-bats. You are throwing strikes.
That's an incredible record.
Now, who is going to hire that coach?

I'm not sure the ins and outs of NAIA recruiting, if that's even a thing, but it seems like they had a plan to bring in a LOT of Midwestern guys. Maybe the lure of playing in great weather with a chance of getting in front of more scouts?

LSUS is real good (for NAIA obviously)... but that also showed how terrible Texas College is... and Texas College is that bad

Their ace (Rhode) has spent the last three summers in the northwoods league and their no. 2 (Reeves) spent last summer in the coastal plains league... These are the 2nd and 3rd best summer ball leagues why are these guys still playing NAIA baseball? Judging by their ages (23 and 24), I'm assuming they wouldn't have any Division 1 eligibility?

Thanks for posting this.

I was not aware of it.

Went and looked around and noticed Ian Montz (Acadiana HS) is a having a solid year for LSU-S.

I wonder if Joe is going to finish the sweep and end with a perfect season and the state title.

Since he is in Division IV, his road to the championship has single games, while the other Divisions will play in 3 game series. One bad night of pitching and they are out.
