Clemson is #1 and no one takes that unless they get beat. You could argue we are 2 but I would rather be 3 and need to prove we are better against 1 or 2.

Our offense looked #1 worthy, but the defense didn’t play nearly well enough to leapfrog Bama and Clemson while they’re still undefeated. Wouldnt surprise me to see LSU jump up to 3 or 4, but Clemson and Bama will still be 1-2

But I thought the consensus on here was Texas was soft and overrated?
In a total crap first two weeks, I suppose LSU has the best win.
Nobody is playing anyone anymore...apart from a handful of teams. SEC slate has been abysmal outside of LSU.

That offense is incredible though. Three WR that will probably all be on an NFL roster. They can all go up and get the ball with good hands, size, and speed.

After being the only top 6 team to defeat a top 10 team ON THE ROAD in addition to OBLITERATING our creampuff week 1 opponent to a greater degree than the other top teams with their cream puffs, we could make the argument but as Francis said in Platoon: it's politics, man, politics. Since we haven't reached a championship game or playoff in 8 years, the people who run this shite aren't going to give us the benefit of the doubt despite the merit, the recent established forces will retain their merit and the burden is on us to supplant them, the way it is.

The people who run this shite aren't meeting and voting for a couple months. The thing on Sunday is 100% meaningless from a random group of douches. You and your friends can make a poll, it will carry an equal amount of weight and probably be more informed

first: Texas was Overrated. They were artificially too high to pump up tv ratings.
second: LSU had to score 45 points to win by only 7

I don’t think we should jump Bama or Clemson until we beat Bama.

A&M just faced Clemson. They got beat down, but not like they aren't playing anybody.
I think LSU should stay at 6 for now. Long season and I'd rather the team stay humble and hungry, maybe even get a chip on their shoulder..
