I wish I learned wrestling in high school especially since our school won many division and state titles. Brusly high

How old are your sons?

My son is 13 and has been wrestling since 9, wish I had started him earlier. Kid is in great shape and he has no issues keeping up with the high school kids.

He's been wrestling with Scorpion Wresting which is pretty much in partnership with Rummel.

Brother Martin has a really good club as well, along with Holy Cross and Shaw.

Teurlings Catholic has a great club, this is pretty much why they've been dominating wrestling in the state for the past several years.

Here's some links to some of the NO area clubs.

Scorpian Wrestling

Crusader Wrestling Club

Eagle Wrestling Academy

Former state champ for Bro Martin in the early 2000’s here.

I remember being terrified of the wrestling coach back in the day and I wasn't on the wrestling team.

Catholic up by 2 points over Jesuit but Jesuit has the 285lb left and none left for Catholic. I think Jesuit wins it if they win that one

Jesuit wins State for first time since 2009.

Jesuit heavyweight Spencer Lanosga pinned every opponent in under a minute.

Choke of the Century by Catholic. Six finalists and go 1-5 and lose by just four points.

Yep... It happens...

Rummel had six in the semis and only one went to go on to win finals.

Catholic 120 or 126 got screwed. Cost him an individual title and the team title. Phantom locking hands call that cost him the match and 4 team points.

Hangover haven my 8 year old is at the crusader club. Enjoys it for what it is but I’m not getting too crazy with it yet. No tourneys, just some scrimmages. Honestly I think a bad asswhipping at 8 in a tournament would be horrible for their confidence at that age and probably have the opposite effect. I think middle school is the right time to push it a little more.
