Ok so even if they are hand picked, you telling me that a Midland Texas team would have so many small players????? They could get a bunch of 5’6 players and above and dominate. Why so many smaller players??????

This is not a team fielded from a little league program as you know it. This is a hand selected group of all stars. They aren’t playing in mom & pop leagues before this stage

i was under the impression that they had to play in the actual little league in order to be eligible. is that no longer the case? i understand they play travel ball as well or in other seasons, but now im curious as to how it all works.

My guide says River Ridge should be playing but it looks like it’s Oklahoma instead. What’s the deal?

Give me the 70s and 80s when we had All Stars. You played with your friends for your town or park. There was a lot more pride and community excitement when a bunch of kids from down the bayou made it to state or beyond.

That team is so good. I watched them a week or so ago in Lafayette. Beat Lafayette by 13 and 15 runned Lake Charles in finals.

Theybwill easily win tomorrow.

Same but different. The girls team is JPRD Eastbank. This boys team is not JPRD related.

Two regions are scheduled to have the champions determined today. The Southeast and Southwest regionals.

The SE is scheduled to play its final semifinal at 8 am central on ESPNEWS between Georgia and South Carolina. They were rained out yesterday. The winner of that game will play at 2 pm central on ESPN against Virginia.

The SW is scheduled for 12 noon central between River Ridge Louisiana and Texas West. It looks like La is undefeated while Texas West has one loss which was to La by one run.

They’re only allowed to use kids within their district. Are you suggesting that this league has cheated??

For the area they come from, I don't think it's ridiculous to think they could put together an all star team from within their district.

Also, they aren't doing anything that any other team they're facing isn't doing.

ETA: They also aren't hiding it: LINK

"They come from different travel ball teams all these kids played at a high level throughout their youth career in travel i think that's a part of the reason why we have legitimate chance they pretty much bee groomed for this opportunity." Frazier added.

aren't the rules changed now to where kids attending a school inside the boundary of a LL program can use the school's address for eligibility and they give waivers for kids living in an area with no little league or not attending school in zone?

What a ridiculous take. LLWS Has always gone into the 1st week of school. I doubt the kids missing one week of 6th grade is going to affect their education.

The fact that you think it is ridiculous that someone is mentioning they will miss a week of school is the problem we have in this state and this country. Your priorities are definitely in order.

You are right why even bother with dumb school. Little Jayden doesn't need school to play in the majors.
