Red Sox.

I lived 50 miles from Boston and would hit around 10-20 games a year when I lived up there.

I became a Cubs fan when WGN starte to broadcast on cable in New Orleans. I have been a Red Sox fan just as long when they would be the national broadcast game on Saturdays.

I've been to about 50 games at Wrigley over the years.

That's fantastic. It gives fans of pretty good but not great teams reason for optimism.

i would of expect more older fans to be Cardinal fans

Before Dodgers went west, St.Louis was the only team west of MIssissippi.

And KMOX, the station that has had cardinal baseball for many decades can be heard from coast to coast. Which is why you had lots of fans in west, as signal could be heard.

I believe the cardinals have season ticket holders in 23 states. And i often see La plates in town for games.

All of my diehard baseball fan friends just didn't have a favorite. We didn't have a team so most didn't TRULY root for anyone.
