Because they have the worst WR corp I've ever seen...they had so many dropped passes...felt bad for Zach Oliver.

Yea, to come so close and not get to the Dome at the end. I'm glad we finally made it though

I hope Rummel is satisfied with "just making it!"

How is saying their offense poses no real threat talking shite?

I think everyone here would agree that their offense is mediocre at best.

They have won games all season because of their OUTSTANDING defense.

BTW: I watched the Rummel/Hahnville game today and my god your Defense is FAST!!!!!!!! Your LB #41 is one of the fastest LBs ive ever seen.

Hahnville did have alot of success running the ball with Blue but for some reason they went away from it and decided to pass I think Talton/Turner will have HUGE games getting the edge on your smaller DE's.

Just give it up...if you say anything negative about Rummel or anything positive about WM...then apparently you're talking shite and/or being cocky. It's ridiculous.

no, its just ridiculous saying shite like that when u haven't seen them play.

31-0
28-0
35-7

predicting scores like that after u had trouble with the 4th and 5th place teams in the district they won is being kind of cocky to me.

Whose predictions are those?

And how many people on here have made predictions in this thread without having seen most of these teams play?

It's ok for me to make predictions without having seen them play...I've seen WM countless times (so I know what they're about) and I've seen Rummel fans themselves say all they have is defense...call it cocky, but I like our chances to outscore them.

This will be the last post about this game I will make because everyone just tries to call me out on shite. We'll see after the game. If I'm wrong, I'll admit I was wrong...I have no problem with that. Good luck to both teams and hopefully no one gets injured.

He got hurt in the Byrd game which was either week 7 or 8. Then the turf toe against Brother Martin. Then the huge hematoma/twisted ankle agaisnt Thibodaux. Not sure he'll be 100% this weekend, but he'll definitely play.

That was a joke directed towards you that I guess you didn't get. I said 14 from the offense, 1 touchdown via defense, 1 via punt return, and 3 off of a turnover. It was a reference to the St. Aug game when I said you can't predict points off of turnovers.

Yeah, saw he got rolled up pretty good. Hope he's okay. Not looking forward to blocking him, but am looking forward to seeing him in p&g.

Im not a Rummel guy. Im for WM (I'd have to be a dick not to pull for my alma mater), but Im worried about the team taking these guys lightly. WM is the king of shooting themselves in the foot with fumbles and penalties. I'm a firm believer that you should respect your opponent and never underestimate anyone. Most of the WM posters think this game is in the bag. I just hope that isnt the attitude of the team.

The biggest reason for my confidence is I honestly don't see how Rummel will score. Like I said earlier, I think no matter what the game will still be in doubt in the 4th quarter. That's really all you can ask for imo. A chance to win the game in the 4th quarter. I look for a very hard fought, low scoring game, with the winning team taking advantage of the other team's mistakes/turnovers. I admit I felt a bit of relief when I saw the heights/weights of Rummel's defenders. I really don't see how they'll be able to stop WM from moving the ball. I'm not trying to be cocky. I'm just looking at their scores throughout the year, their size, and WM's size on the lines.

He's a safety. Neville runs a 4-2-5. #15 and #46 are Strong safeties but they play them close to the line of scrimmage. ETA: #46 is a 3 year starter

He's a 2 year starter. Neville always puts their scrappiest player at SS. The safety before 46 is playing baseball somewhere in texas.

It's called having a Moron for a coach, he does so little with the talent he gets. The 2003 team that won state could have won it with Les Miles coaching them!

I mean Blue was getting 6 yards a carry. I think WM's Talton is pretty dang good too and WM's oline is much better than hahnvilles so I expect WM to run the same BORING plays they ran last year. Hopefully they work this time around

I talked to a few offensive players today and let me tell you they are not overconfident AT ALL.

Their exact words were, "We dont know what we're gonna do against them. If we run up the middle their DT's shed the blocks and their LB's fill the holes before we can get 2 yards. Running outside doesnt seem like an option because their LB's are so fast and their DE's get up the field very well. I guess we are gonna have to pass a good bit to move the ball. Its gonna be a WAR."

That doesnt sound like an overconfident player now does it?
