There's another guy in LA this year that's pretty good. 13 HRs so far this year playing in one of the biggest parks in the state. ProjectP2294 had Pearson at .535 in a post on 4/26/17. He's hitting .714 in the playoffs with 2 HRs and hit another one 360 3 feet foul. That's not a typo...SEVEN FOURTEEN IN THE PLAYOFFS.

Is this year's West Monroe team better than 1999 state champs?

Gotta get a ring first. If they do, yes they're better.

St. Louis is coached by John Micheal Collins. He's the grandson of Pat Collins(NLU) and son of Mike Collins who coached at LSU and NLU as well as others. Just a useless fact for everyone. He played at Ouachita and ULM and I believe coached at Barbe for a bit.

Teurlings is coached by Michael Thibodeaux, and older brother of Nicholls head coach Seth Thibodeaux.

Going to be a tough game, St. Louis is good. Teurlings does have their ace, Hayden Cantrelle (Cajun signee), for the game. Only problem is when he's on the mound, he's not at SS.

That's pretty good. There will be some good coaching blood lines in that game.

I knew this guy passively when he was in high school. I was friends with a couple of Ouachita baseball players at the time. Was a total punk biatch at that time, but we all were back then at that age.

Very glad he is doing well for himself. Definitely conquered some things in his life to get where he is at today.

Damn I am getting old.
