ULL pitcher Blake Marshall throws over 130 pitchers in 2 games for ULL leading them to 2 wins over Coastal Carolina. What a performance. Cajuns get Southern Miss for Fun Belt championship. They are on the bubble currently.

Cajuns should be in the tournament after sweeping the DH with Coastal. Sun Belt is the #5 conference RPI and the Cajuns have 22 wins (40 total) and their RPI jumped 13 spots today from 59 to 46.

D1 had the Cajuns as one of the last 4 teams out today. Beating Coastal Carolina twice helps a lot. Huge wins for ULL.

The system is dumb but this is kind of an outlier situation where the Cajuns got two neutral site wins against a heavyweight in one day. Doesn’t happen often

Cajuns shouldn’t leave it up to chance after UTSA got royally fricked last year.

Yeah there are alot of P5 teams on the bubble .. never want to be hoping for a spot against bigger names, especially when the field is already saturated with teams from your area

ULL was light on Q1 wins. They picked up two of them yesterday. Makes sense that they would move up.

And there is no consistency with the committee. Ole Miss had no business in the field last year, yet NC State was expected to be a 2 and didn’t even get in.
