Saints-Falcons in 2006 when the Superdome was reopened.
specifically when Gleason blocked the punt. It was deafening.

This or LSU-UF 09 after Tebow's concussion when they had the ball inside their own 10 in the south end zone. Student section was rocking and my head was spinning.

Loudest Sporting Event I've Ever Attended
Twillie's INT in the endzone to seal it. . .loudest thing I have ever heard, ever.

when USC's loss was announced i think it got to 119 decibels
That was a gradual increase. Half the student section didn't know why they were cheering. The blocked FG was 92,000 collectively screaming at once.

I'm not that sentimental about that game but that was the loudest thing I ever heard. I couldn't hear myself and I was screaming at the top of my lungs. Blew away anything I'd ever heard in Tiger Stadium.

Was there for that in the endzone for the safety. Saints Falcons dwarfed that.

Saints win meant more to that city.
No way it was louder than the Bring Back the Magic Game.

Yeah clearly roofs just trap the sound.
TIME TO DOME DEATH VALLEY.

Look, I'm not one of those who say that Saints Falcons was super important. I was tired of the whole New Orleans Katrina victim thing, but I promise you, you've never, and I'm not exaggerating, never been to a louder sporting event in your life. I was at both, loved both, but it's not even close volume-wise.

the 2006 Saints Falcons game gave me a major headache from the noise. By far the loudest game I ever went to but I am sure a packed basketball arena would trap the sound better.
OKC was rocking tonight. Sounded pretty loud on TV

NFC Championship game vs. Vikes

the blocked punt happened right in front the driveman. it sounded like a bomb went off. actually that every defensive play in FIRST half was ear splitting.

"I never in my life heard a crowd roar so loud," Vick said. "It just goes to show the appreciation they have for having the New Orleans Saints back in the dome, bringing football back to the city. I commend them for that. They deserve it."

This is first sporting event/concert that I have a headache.
