Ping s59 tours for sale. +1.5", 2 degrees upright on the long irons and 1 degree on the short irons. It's what Bubba plays

Are you looking to load your bag with insane distance?

Are you looking for irons built with driver DNA?

Are you looking to hit it 17 yards further?

Have you ever hit a Miura? If so, what are they like?

I'm a Titleist homer, but for a 10 handicap the Titleist AP1's should be a good fit. They are more forgiving than the AP2's. I've got the 2's and it will be a long time before I trade them in. They are so smooth.

Mizuno's are never a bad choice either. They've always had solid clubs. Those MP53's were my 2nd choice behind the AP2's.

Taylor Made makes a pretty good iron. The last set I had before my AP2's were the R7's. Just keep in mind that TM makes their irons with stronger lofts. Your irons will go further, thus you'll feel like billy bad arse when you're hitting a PW 155 yards and all your buddies are hitting 8 irons. A friend of mine just got the Rocketballz irons and is nuking the ball. Hit a 250yd 4 iron the other day.

Go to a store/demo day/range and swing them though. I swung my buddy's Rocketballz irons and noticed a considerable difference in the weight of the club from my Titleist. That may not be a huge deal to you, but it can be something that takes time getting used to. Don't get something b/c your favorite pro hits them, get a club that fits you...and get them fitted for your swing(ie...shaft length, stiffness, loft, lie, etc). Can't stress that enough, you'll notice the difference immediately.

I play s59 tours as well. 6-pw though. Nickent hybrids 2-5 are just too easy to hit to even attempt to try the s59s.

i'd never go the the help board and ask, but i think that a golf board would thrive on this site

we could have driver/iron/wedge/putter reviews stickied at the top as well as course suggestions/reviews..

if the admins/chicken didn't approve of a golf board, maybe they could add it with other recreational sports

Truth. I have no shame in carrying 3 hybrids. But I have Adams instead of Nickent.

Ap2 712s are where it's at. But seriously, go get fitted and try everything out there at a demo day or outlet.

Agree 100%. As I said, I got fitted for the first time when I got these AP2's; and I noticed a difference right away. I think the AP1's would be better for a 10 handicap though. Alot more forgiving, can't go wrong with Titleist in my opinion though.

And Hell yes to a golf board!

Ok a few questions before I can give a real answer and not just show $3,000 golf clubs.
What improvement are you most looking for? Forgiveness, accuracy, Distance, lower/higher ballflight?
Your misses are due to.....
Not hitting the ball in the center>, Hooking, slicing?
Ballflight low or high.

ETA:
1 vote for a golf board. It is too much of a refined sport to be muddled up with everything else.

I am a 10 as a well and just got a new set of Titleist AP2s. Go get fitted with a fitter who uses trackman and who will let you hit balls out side as well. Hit a few different brands and let them show you the numbers before making a decision.

my buddy is trying to sell me his AP2's for 300 bucks. I want to buy them so bad but i dont have the money right now

Im playing hogan apex blades that are about 20 years old and are the best clubs ive ever hit so im not really in the market.

Golf clubs are so much personal preference that you need to just go hit a shite ton. AP2's are great Pings are great TM's are great you just need to go find the ones that you love the most and what you feel most comfortable playing

I'm similar (about an 8 right now) and if I were getting new irons I would look at the Mizuno MP 59's or the Titleist AP2's.
