I bring this up because many blamed Ball's knee troubles as a reason for his poor shooting performance. So he missed six weeks to fully recover. Yet, over the past nine games Ball's stats are as follows:

FG%- .278
3 PT%- .206
8.6 PPG

Despite shooting from the outside at such an awful pace, he's attempting eight 3's a game. During the last seven games his stats from behind the arc:

1-6
1-7
1-8
1-3
1-4
1-12

Also, in the past three weeks he's made exactly 4 free throws. 9 games, 4 free throws. A point guard has to constantly pressure the defense and get to the line by attacking the rim. I understand he's not a natural scorer but this is unacceptable for the #2 pick of the draft.

I wonder what LaVar can do to fix this.

I think LaVar put unnecessary pressure on him. He had enough pressure to succeed being picked 2nd without his retarded dad adding to it 10-fold.

Lonzo seems like an ok guy but his dad makes me so happy that Lonzo is failing hard.

And he missed some wide arse open 3s in the pels game. Like no one even attempted to close him open

The level of disrespect during that game was laughable. No one in that arena, including Ball, any confidence in his ability to make open 3's.

Rough week for the Ball family.

He pulls the little one out of high school because the coach stood up to him and wouldn't let the kid launch 50 shots a game and they are playing for the state title tonight.

I'm still on the "Lonzo is going to be a really good pro" train, but last night was tough to watch.

Everyone wants to look at the shots he was missing, and for good reason, but I think his shot will come. His turnovers last night were just terrible. His defense was abysmal He was really disconnected from the game.

Yep.

And after the youngest one talked shite about them on Twitter when Lavar pulled him and they dropped a few games early in the season.

Crazy that one of the best players on that team now is their cousin Andre Ball. Would be such a great story if he turned into a great player in college and it had nothing to do with Lavar.

He needs to stop shooting and just create shots for other people, run the offense and play defense
