Clearly libtards believe Lonzo Ball is better than Westbrook, Harden, and Chris Paul. I bet they are eating overpriced artisanal avocado toast while making these weak, GLOBALIST arguments.

Well--we all know ESPN just absolutely LOVES this guy.

If you do, wanting to trade him without seeing the conundrum is LOL funny, hence the emoticons.

He's a terrible shooter, that's obvious. But he's been a really good defender, especially as of late. And I believe the dude is averaging 7 assists and 7 rebounds at 20 years old. The idea of giving up on him ever being at least an average shooter so trading him now (selling low) would be a pretty questionable decision, unless LAL is getting a proven star back.

The answer to that question can probably be found right next to "how long is westcoastag going to defend lonzo ball?"

I also refuse to understand how people can take this stance. I don't irrationally defend him. I always use statistics to support my views. Am I biased? Sure. I'm a Laker fan. But the idea that I'm irrationally defending him in spite of all this overwhelming statistical evidence is really ridiculous

Uh, yeah?

I'd assume they'd get a proven guy in return. The other team is getting a young, future All NBA player when clearly is REALLY good. And on a rookie deal.

The Lakers aren't THAT far away from competing. A proven PG who can also be relied on to score would be perfect for this team, imo.

He won’t be even an average shooter until he remakes his jumpshot. It is hands down one of the worst I’ve seen at the NBA level. Not sure if pops taught him that one, but it’s god awful.

You're proving my point.

He sucks and he's never going to be good so trade him now...for a really good player.

Casual fans think he sucks.

GMs and basketball people know how special he is.

I think he's a below average starting PG in the NBA and has the potential to be an average starting PG one day (if the drama from his pops doesn't give him the Knoblauch syndrome on his shot).

I didn't realize the FT% and that's really bad, can only go up from there.

Lol not alot of room in the NBA these days for guards that can't shoot. Guy has good size and can defend well so he'll stick in the league for that reason but he'll never be "special".

Literally! On one of those bricks you could hear someone from the Pels bench yell at him "Shoot It" through the television. My 7 year old son was cracking up laughing.

I agree.

But apparently Laker fans and basketball experts don't.

How many teams' primary ball handler is their 6th best scoring option? What teams have made the finals with a PG who isn't their 3rd or so best scoring option?

This kid can't even take SOME pressure off his teammates.

And IMO, he'd be perfectly fine to find his way on some middling team. But the Lakers seem serious about competing VERY soon.

If that's the case, he can't be their PG.

Now go ahead and shower me with downvotes you assholes
