I have told you multiple times what I think of his ceiling. I think he can be a year in, year out all star. It depends on whether or not he can find the shot he had at UCLA and the 20+ game stretch he had between late November till about two weeks ago. I'm just not willing to, at this point in time, to act like it will never happen and it's over for him. I will be more than willing to change that opinion on him if we get into next year and the shot still looks this bad

I’m interested to see if the defense can sustain next year. It’s definitely been surprising. He was not good on defense when I watched him at UCLA If it does he will have a long successful career, even if it’s not as a star. If it doesn’t he will end up as a career bench guy.

Hes a team defense guy and the defense scheme the Lakers have is a lot better than what alford is doing at UCLA

You're having rough thread here, and i'm not even talking about your actual Ball opinions.
So what type of player do you think he develops into?

This is 100% more bold than my opinion of him, dude.

I have never said your opinion was or was not bold. I've always held the opinion that I just absolutely disagree with your outlook on him

Uhh I edited to quote a post of yours...wait for it...THAT YOU EDITED!!!

You've been the Lonzo Ball 3 point shooting of this thread so far, you're off the mark.

Is this real life?

I posted that original post at 10:22. Then edited it at 10:25.

Your response was at 10:48.

You fricking saw the entire post. I didn't edit it on top of you life you're insinuating.

You're so intellectually dishonest bro

And now you're just lashing out

The video I posted speaks for itself.

Lonzo has an obvious flaw in his shooting form. Unless he changes it he will never be a consistent outside shooter and will be limited to what he can do offensively.

Right now he should not be a starter for the Lakers.

we have more evidence of him being capable of shooting pro 3s than not

You realize his 3pt % would be higher than 30% if this were the case, right?

quote:

he just went on a 20+ game run of shooting 40% from three.

Ok give me a starting date & end date on this

Yes, and you're wrong.

Are you just trying to be wrong on purpose at this point? That's an actual honest question with how bad you've been in this thread.

I clicked to reply to the thread when you first posted it. I got busy, so it sat at that point...AGAIN with me not seeing your edit, I came back later and replied to the original post, then noticed your edit.

Sorry you don't like facts, but by all means, please continue to argue facts, it'll be fun for me to watch, point, laugh, mock...all that stuff.

I don't get the point you're trying to make. Yes, at this point in time his shooting is awful, but you understand this is not the only time he has ever played the sport of basketball right?

between November 29th and March 7th he played in 22 games and shot 40% from 3pt range

So your fact that I'm arguing against is you clicked to reply then sat there for 26 minutes?

And I'm supposed to know that?

Also, does the time stamp thing register when you click to reply, or when you hit submit?

I'm petty enough to test this

This will one day be worthy of a, "post an unbelievable stat" thread.
