I don't think he regrets leaving the Nationals by any means since it was a good move at the time. Just sucks for him that the second he leaves, the Nats put it all together and win it all

How so? He turned down the exact same money to go to another team in the same league because he thought they would have a better chance to win the WS and the team he walked away from wins it the very next year.

Now had it been years down the road, not as amusing, but the fact they did it in less that a year of him walking is funny as shite.

Didn’t say they did... Just pointing out his choice to walk away from the exact same money only to also walk away from what he was chasing less than a year later.

It is pretty funny. Not saying Phillies won’t eventually win it, but this is poetic.
