There’s a good chance either Georgia, Oklahoma State, Cinci, or Mich will be upset this weekend. Here is how I see it playing out for each scenario where just one of those teams loses and the other three win.

According to the betting odds, Okla St is the most likely to lose. If Okla St loses to Baylor, final four is likely:
1. UGA
2. Michigan
3. Cinci
4. Notre Dame

Georgia is the next most likely to lose. If they do, it’s likely:
1. Bama
2. Michigan
3. UGA
4. Cinci

Cinci is the next most likely to lose, and if they do it’s likely:
1. UGA
2. Michigan
3. Okla St
4. Notre Dame

Michigan is the least likely to lose, if they do, it’s likely:
1. UGA
2. Cinci
3. Okla St
4. Notre Dame

Any disagreements?

No but there are so many more possible scenarios too. Michigan could easily lose. Multiple teams can lose.

I don't think Michigan is a lock for the playoffs.

While extremely (less than 2% chance) unlikely, I think it would be funny for Notre Dame to win it all once Kelly leaves.

Agreed. It's Notre Dame every time outside of the scenario in which Alabama beats Georgia.

Though this will never happen, a Notre Dame-Michigan championship in Indy would be wild

If Michigan beats Iowa, they're in without question. There's no scenario in which Michigan gets left out as the Big Ten champion

Gonna be really awkward when Notre Dame wins it all.

And every time ND does get in, it’s at #4 slot with a first round matchup against UGA.

Kelly did not want another 20+ point postseason loss on his resume (can’t blame him).

Looking over these scenarios, a couple more thoughts:

Cinci has a great shot to play in the National Championship game.

Another UGA/Bama national title game is not as unlikely as we want it to be.

Georgia will never ever have a better shot at a title.

Eta and talk about a Cinderella if Cincy plays Georgia like they did last year in the bowl game. Fickell has done an amazing job there

LSU fans would instantly try to claim that tile as Kelly's.

Someone on the CFP committee said they will absolutely take into account Kelly being gone from ND when deciding where they end up at the end. To me, that says they have zero shot at getting in.

If this scenario happens I wouldn't be surprised if they keep Alabama at 3 if they lose a close game to UGA. Notre Dame has only beat like 3 teams with a winning record this year, one of those being Toledo. Their resume is super weak

Georgia would have 1:10 odds of winning it all with this bracket.

Possible, but I don't see that happening. Notre Dame’s only loss was to Cinci. Bama has a loss to 8-4 A&M. Notre Dame’s strength of schedule is #16, which is respectable ( SOS rankings).

Baylor should get in over nd with a power 5 conference championship win

Baylor has 2 losses, and one was to 4-5 TCU. ND’s only loss was to Cinci, and ND has a stronger strength of schedule.
