That’s definitely surprising, the little brother doesn’t usually fair well VS the big brother.

He didn’t play in the beginning of the season because he was on the West Coast for some baseball development.

Thanks for that news.

I asked someone on Louisiana Sportsline about that, and he never did reply. I was curious about the timing.

Div. IV select is tough!

It’s only been five meetings all time… two of them were a decade ago and decided by 1 point and three points, both Slidell wins

Though I think we’ve played them in jamborees more than anyone else

You're hanging onto that homefield advantage in pick em by a thread.

Hell, we all are, outside of Raven and maybe the next guy....

Get you some, then....

Speaking of Zachary, I underestimated them and Acadiana.

I covered Zachary at Acadiana on a Saturday night early in the season. Both are better than I initially gave them credit for.

Gonna be a wet one all over the BR metro. Water pooling all over since we haven’t had rain in what seems like 3 months

First time at Slidell stadium

On the visitor side, the field lights are in front of the stands. Like between the stands and the field. It’s rather dark.

I can’t think of the stadium, and it’s driving me crazy, but there was a similar setup in N. La during a game years ago.

The sideline on the visitor’s side was very narrow. Only a few yards between the field and the stands, with a fence, a little hill and telephone poles with lights separating the players from the fans.

The middle of the field was bright enough, but there were weird shadows close to the sidelines, and most of the fans sat in the dark.
