They’re a decent team, definitely second in district behind Acadiana. Thats a pretty wide gap if you saw the game last week though.

I agree.

Acadiana has been playing as well as anyone for some time

I’m happy with how St Fred’s has played this season. Their defense has been impressive and their offense is much better and consistent than I thought it would be. There were lots of question marks after losing last years starting QB and starting RB to Ouachita Parish. They lost their backup QB to Neville, and he’s been great for Neville.

D4 select should be very interesting.

Got a chance to watch Ascension Episcopal last night. They're 7 in the power ratings St. Fred is 6). Only loss was to Vermilion Catholic. It was, from my understanding, largely a back-and-forth affair until the Ascension Episcopal QB went out.

Fortunately, he returned last night. 2026 Branon Mitchell. 14:1 TD/INT ratio

you're right. I was typing emotionally. Didn't cover kick and jumped on ball and missed it

Were you on this crew tonight? If so , wondering how the offsetting penalties when the Easton o-lineman hit the BM LB after he tackled the QB. Was there a retaliation from BM that I didn't see?

Just keep an eye on that team on 190 north of laffy. Their record may not be great but they are come playoff time.

Saw something interesting today.

De La Salle this year is D3 select.

Every single team on their regular season schedule is D1 or D2.

Their entire district is D2 except for them.

3 D1 games to start the season followed by 7 D2 games.

They do this every year. I wonder who turned them in?

Pretty normal for Newman.. How many football state championships do they have?

Zero, made the semis around four times. It's the only sport they haven't won.
