The playoffs is what I don’t like. You put some 2A and some 3a together. If the a 3a and 2A team play the same 4a
Team and both win the 2a school gets more power points.

You should use my rankings and not a computer’s rankings

Neville will get more points for losing to Ruston than some teams get from wins due to playing up a class. Yet…they’re in the same division/playoffs. They played 2 5A teams last year and lost both games. Due to this glitch in the system, they were the 2 seed.

It’s done by division now, not class. Neville isn’t getting play up points this year.

If that is the case then great. I know last year Bunkie missed the playoffs because a 2a team beat a terrible 5A team and received a boost to pass us up.

Was that just passed? I’ve seen Neville, they can play with and beat pretty much everyone in D1. I am not discrediting them, I’m discrediting the glitch that was present last year.

I think it was passed in January. I agree it was stupid but this whole class/divisional playoff crap hasn’t been well thought out. Now it looks like we’re gonna do the same thing for the next reclassification instead of just doing it by division.

Edit: Unintended consequence I just realized is that teams are getting play-up points for playing district games. How frickin stupid is that.

Eff’em. Follow the rules or carry your arse. I like Jerry but he has a dumpster fire on his hands that he’s allowed and/or caused.

They seem incapable of playing by the rules and their behavior is always the icing on the cake.

happened to the 3a selects having to play post season with 4a for the whole split prior to last year.

Ehret’s and Chalmette’s only district losses in the last five seasons have come against each other.

Absent a collapse in the next two weeks, looks like playoff football in Da Parish for the second time in three seasons, after none since Katrina.
