That’s not entirely true.
Turf is down, lights are up. Home stands and press box are up. No visitor stands yet and the track surface has not been poured. It’s a whole new stadium. Not just a new playing surface.
Also the new scoreboard is lost in transit somewhere. They had to put up the old scoreboard just to be ready for Week 10.
And the post flood turf was a pile of crap to start with.
This facility will be top notch when it’s done.
Also…Denham Springs holds off St Amant 27-21. Final.

Unfortunately it’s true. Just got home from the game. I’m too damn old to be jumping fences! Shots fired outside the north end zone fence. One person shot. Damn shame it just hurts my heart and pisses me off that this happened on Homecoming. I’ve been going to games for a long time and I haven’t seen the stadium as full as it was tonight in a very long time.
