LHSAA week 6... Catholic League Rivalry Week
The thing i love about coach hank is every week he has players that played for him many years ago coming to watch games at PHS, even tho most went to Shaw. Shows how much of an impact he had on their lives and how respected he is by former players.

I know many like this, and many that are still very bitter about the actions of a former principal and AD....and they have had THEIR kids go there since then.

My step bro thinks the world of him and Hank was by no means easy on him

you say that, but those are "entire LHSAA" issues since I'm sure not even the select schools want to quit playing nonselect in nondistrict games that count

Better than Derrick Joseph and Shyrone Carey? Interesting, Ponchatoula sounds legit.

Yes... And you know what I think of those two....

Not to mention two guys named Vance and Mickey

WM will take their lumps this year, but man they are playing a ton of sophomores and 2 freshmen. If I had to predict it right now I would say Byrd vs Ponchatoula in the Dome but we still have a month to go before things get kicked off.

I say Byrd and Acadiana... Ponchatoula strikes me as one of those teams that will lose in the semifinal just because they haven't been there before

Honestly I'd pick WM over Acadiana at this point. I'm sure both will be rolling when it matters.

Acadiana is down, but still dangerous. Definitely not a matchup i would want.

I think he is closer to being a complete QB.

They really are. Last night convinced me. I have been trying to keep hometown and school pride in check. But you just can't deny how good they are. The fear is, never having been there before. Will the team react the right way deep in the playoffs when things don't go right.

So...Woodlawn is exactly who we thought they were.

Catholic destroys Dutchtown next week and runs away with 5-5A this year. Dutchtown, EA and STA in another free-for-all for second. The more things change......

I was playing as well

BM has some real good wins this season

John Ehret, @ Franklinton, @ E. Ascension & now vs. St. Aug who just last week beat Curtis... BM really proving themselves

and Bonis has done a whale of a job since it was rumored he was real close to being canned this past summer

Where is everyone who was questioning BM being ranked 19th preseason by the Times?
