This could be the best qb he has coached....which is scary

I can't remember the QBs name when Tierney was at Shaw.

He played for LSU.

What was his name?

Choupique, were you at game last night?

They do run some veer, some triple option.

Campbell is the real deal and i expect an LSU offer soon.

I really didnt think we would beat covington so badly. But it showed how good we really are. Cant look ahead to St Pauls, and just take care of fontainbleau, and slidell, and Ponchy will have at least a share of district title.

Its not that simple. Sure Hank is the key. But we have never had the horses in the numbers that we have now.

What kind of offense is Ponchy running?

Same offense Hank has always run, but its expanded big time. They run it out of the shotgun and pistol. They can throw it but haven't needed to. Campbell is a special player. Fast and tough as nails. You know he is smart, holds a offer and is committed to Georgia Tech. I hope he goes where his heart tells him to and hope its LSU.

I'm not sure if CHSNI is the #10 team in the state, but they are very good. They beat lowly Jeanerette 63-6 last night, but they've been impressive from the jamboree this year.

They beat Teurlings in the jamboree, and since then have avenged last year's losses to Vermillion Catholic (42-14), Patterson (28-25), and Notre Dame (56-28). They're outscoring opponents 300-94, or 50-16 per game average.

They have nothing but district games left on the schedule - a district they demolished last year. Their remaining games are @ Westminster whom they beat 62-14 last year, @ Opelousas Catholic whom they beat 48-14, home against Loreauville who they beat 51-8, and home against Delcambre, a 56-14 win from last year.

Hopefully they end up on the opposite side of the bracket from Calvary so that game can be played in the Superdome where it should have been last year.

226 head coaches got an interesting survey from the LHSFCA

I am in favor of combining the select and non-select schools and dividing into seven (7) divisions, with the option to play up in the largest divisions. Coaches were 60-40 NO on this.

I am in favor of having seven (7) football divisions for playoff competition composed of four (4) non-select divisions and three (3) select divisions. Coaches were 52-48 YES on this.

I am in favor of having the option to forego the 10 days of spring training and adding five (5) days to the start of fall practice (5th calendar week) with two (2) scrimmages. Coaches were 59-41 YES on this

I am in favor of leaving the spring training rule and start of fall practice rule as it is with no changes. Coaches were 53-47 NO on this

of course at the LHSAA meetings it will be the principals who vote on these issues...

The thing i love about coach hank is every week he has players that played for him many years ago coming to watch games at PHS, even tho most went to Shaw. Shows how much of an impact he had on their lives and how respected he is by former players.
Halloween night in The Swamp will most likely be for district championship vs St Paul.
