Hell no! Dude, even West Monroe couldn't beat Evangel. 0-4 in the dome vs e. WM was better than these Catholic teams though.

I will say, that I would have loved to have seen evangel and w.monroe meet up a year earlier than they first did. That 98 rebels team was an all timer. Then again, evangel still had Cole Pittman in 98 among others. While Bradie James was at west monroe still as well I believe, evangel was literally unbeatable, in that time frame especially. And would have won in 1998 just like every other time lol. (I don't know wtf happened in Independence stadium in 2001 regular season. I was in Knoxville for LSU TN.)

Ponchatoula 27 Covington 3
This Ponchatoula team is a head scratcher for me. They have a absolute bull at RB Braydon Johnson and until the second half tonight have refused to run him consistently. In the first half tonight they must have thrown the ball 40 times. What isn't a head scratcher is this defense it is legit. For the recruiting types Jacoby Mathews 5 star safety had a 72 yard fumble return for a TD.

I’m surprised Neville didn’t let them score when STM had 1st and goal from the 5 with less than 2 min left in the game. You’re only up 1 at that time so you’ll need time to drive for a field goal even if you hold them to 3 instead of theTD they ended up getting. Instead you let them milk the clock and score and now you’re down 7 with 14sec left.
