That’s pretty standard huh… $10 is cheap.

Games I go to are $12

Ridiculous if you ask me. $50 before a drink and popcorn for a family of 4….SMH

Ponchatoula 0 ...what has happened to them?

Southern Tangipahoa in the Hammond area is lowkey the most underperforming area of the state now… I don’t think they have any teams that are a threat

Don’t even think it’s Jewel Sumner and Amite and Kentwood getting the kids either. They’re too far from Hammond, Ponch, STA… none of the teams around there are that good even in neighboring parishes

Curtis 21 Rummel 19…

Rummel blew too many opportunities…

Curtis was clearly the better team. Put the ball on the ground 3 possessions in a row, last one recovered for a Rummel TD and Curtis still won. A nearly 11:00 drive in the 4th quarter to win the game.

ND over Catholic New Iberia 35-34 in OT….ND trailed 28-0 at halftime and had 5 TOs in the game….im not sure I’ve ever seen a HS game quite like it.

ND scored the tying TD with 17 seconds left in the 4th.

Props to CHNI coach going for two in the first OT.
CHNI just looked beat by the end of the 4th quarter.

ND not supposed to be great this year, but really beat themselves against Tuerlings and now have beaten CHNI, so maybe they aren’t so bad.

Canes just don't have the depth yet, and that's ok. Played Riverside and Dutchtown really tough for 2.5 quarters and it all unravels mid 3rd quarter.

Can still be proud of a young team that fights hard and just isn't ready to finish yet.

went from 13-7 mid 3rd quarter to 42-7 final. GG Dutchtown

Amite is also a far cry from what they once were, Kentwood seems to always be in the mix in that division but that’s a whole other world that far up 55. Jewel Summer has come a long way over the years, I don’t know if it’s grown that much or what because I don’t get out that way very often.

I’m pretty sure they are near the top, if not #1.

Sumner is but that’s just the polls throwing them a bone… Ponch made the playoffs two years ago and blew a lead… then they beat us pretty sketchily last year. Now they’re not even competitive

Chalmette charges 10 plus fee, most other games we play are 10 plus fee.

15 seemed nuts especially when the visitors have over 90 percent of fans… reminder me of when Tulane would host lsu

They played well, but don’t act like Curtis is the 2019 Tigers. Rummel definitely shot themselves in the foot. Rummel screwed the pooch on the first and goal, throwing three passes that the QB completely threw three shite passes to guys wide open in the end zone, and settled for a field goal. Curtis was gifted with an int on the Rummel 30, bad pass thrown right to the corner covering. So don’t act like Curtis wasn’t gifted with Rummel making dumb plays.

Rummel also screwed the pooch on that muffed punt with a personal foul and holding that cost them 25 yards which they had to punt.

I’ll Curtis that last drive, Rummel should’ve stopped that 4th and six.

So what you're saying is that Rummels QB is not very good. Terrible throws and interceptions aren't just bad bounces, that's just not good football.
Should have been 28-7

I'm not impressed with any of the Catholic league teams this year, except Karr. Curtis, Rummel, Holy Cross, Brother Martin, and Jesuit are all equally average. It will take a monumental collapse for anybody to even threaten Karr.

They’ve literally beaten everybody else except for that Rummel loss to LCA…

There won’t be another chance for the rest of the state to beat any of them until the D1 select playoffs

You’re so used to comparing Catholic League teams to themselves and what a good team looks like that you almost don’t realize you’ve zoomed past the rest of the state. It’s hard to find legit contenders outside of the Catholic League. Catholic BR lost, Alexandria hasn’t played much SOS, Evangel has no D, Acadiana’s done, and it’s a down year for Byrd. It’s hard to pick 4A teams to compete like STM and Teurlings

It’s not a great year at all in the Catholic league. Watching rummel & curtis maybe me sad and how small & slow both teams looked.

Curtis played us physical last year. I thought they had a bit coming back

Is Karr as good as last year? They looked a tad less dominant. But I onky saw em in person for that bloodbath against us and they looked spectacular everywhere.

Maybe you’re just older and the kids look smaller lol… and you may be comparing two (still very) good teams to previous Rummel and Curtis teams that were state champions and the best in the state…
