I’ve seen them play STM the last 6 years or so, and they always start slow, and play like their hair is on fire in the 4th quarter. At least against STM. Good game though. More defense than usual.

They refs beat destrehan for them when they gave them a first on a ball that measured an inch short.

Acadian beats Zachary 43-28. Some delays. Score was 28-22 Zachary late and Acadiana just rolled the rest of the game.

Zachary has a tough schedule. Six wins (only 9 games) will be tough.

Was a good game. Got to interview both coaches briefly.

Will have a game story later today.

I was hearing in the preseason they have a three-headed monster at halfback. Didn't see Parker Bruno get carries tonight. Forgot to ask coach.

Asked Jonah Gauthier: he said Bruno is healthy and will get reps.

Collin DiBetta getting it done in the secondary and at receiver (2027).

Would like to see him run the option at quarterback next year. He’s electric and should have the ball in his hands at all times. Probably has a pretty good arm too but in Acadiana’s offense that is lagniappe.

Zachary's defense is tougher than the score indicated.

Acadiana punched and punched with the dive and inside run and finally broke through with Collins and Gauthier breaking tackles towards the end.

The same thing was happening on the other side of the ball with No. 14 and No. 22, the RBs for Zachary. They began getting chunks between the tackles. Fortunately, Cooper for Acadiana made some big stops that secured the W

Have not heard about daddy ball, however wonder what the West Monroe faithful thinks about the sharp decline over the past several years. It’s quite obvious Ruston and Neville are the cream of the crop up in that area.
