Don’t sleep on Denham Springs. They’re riding a 6 game win streak, and the offense has put up 41, 63, 42, 51, 62, and 54 points in those six. An average of 52 ppg. And 4 of those 6 are playoff teams

That’s just ridiculous. At least no one will have to travel there this year.

Agreed, but his original post was

You see them beating Zachary, Central, and Ruston to get to the Dome? Any of those 6 teams in the same stratosphere as any of those 3?

Could be:)

The returned blocked kick for a game-winning TD was a good strategy.

More likely that Easton and Curtis want out.

Not hardly, Karr is not happy about Catholic league student game admission policy and have not been since they were in leauge. Easton may want out.

JC does not want out, in any way shape or form.

There is some animosity towards Karr from many schools in metro and it's not about wins and losses.

I’m guessing it has something to do with St. Aug fans denied entry a few weeks ago after Behrman capacity was reached and then not refunding them

What do you guys know about Catholic NI? I think Bunkie will win that one but no one is besting LCA this year. Would be a great year considering the production we lost last year.

Denham Springs is a dangerous team on a 6 game Win streak; but Coach Beard did not want a BYE Week to break the momentum ; which didn't bother Central's Road to the Dome run last year.

Speaking of...? HOW did Denham Springs #4 jump # 5 Central??
Central Won @ Denham Springs 34 - 28 .....great back n forth game!

Head to head has nothing to do with it. Denham’s opponents won more games than Central’s opponents.

WOW!
....Denham Springs opponents W-L record 53-46
....Central HS opponents W-L record 52 -46

Nearly IDENTICAL!
Not really enough difference; esp when Central beat them Head to Head at their place....

That's OK Central has some unfinished business vs Dutchtown
