Catholic only has half that many students since they’re all boys

So they use a formula instead for an All Boys school?

So that does that apply also for the St.Joesph's girls too??

Thanks for clearing that up.

Yes.

All the Ascension schools and Denham Springs have more boys than Catholic.

Catholic HS has 2, 147 boys to chose from vs. Central nearly THREE times as less 772 boys (1,554 ) ; and still only lost 42-38 cuz of the botched Exrta points.

Try again

Catholic has half of that

It’s kinda wild how much better the private division is over the public’s now

In D1 it took a lot higher power rating to host in nonselect than it did in select

8 Amite (7-4) at 1 Jena (11-0)

Only the 3rd time in school history for the Giants to get to the quarterfinals. Last time was in 2020 and we lost Lake Charles College Prep in OT.

Amite knocked Jena out of the playoffs last year in the 2nd round.

Hoping 3rd time is the charm for my guys.

Feels like it’s now or never for Jena. I think y’all get over the hump and get to the dome y’all have been so close over the past couple years

Coach Roark has done an outstanding job of staying consistent. You’re right about now or never….well maybe not “never” but this is a senior heavy team. These guys have had a damn good season and I love to see them get there.

I think we’ve got the offense to play but the defense scares me against passing teams which we don’t see a lot of. Buckeye torched us through the air for 2.5 qtrs but we finally figured them out. I think the final was 74-38 Jena

Yep that sucked because their kicker missed the extra pt attempt. Also when we scored, we initially got the two pt conversion but had 12 men on the field so we had two chances to put it away.

Should be some real good games. Almost every game is streamed in some capacity so it’ll be nice to bounce around and see some fun football
