Semis is the higher seed. I think Rummel will go to Baton Rouge. But they've made a helluva run with their draw so far

Round 1 - #15 Northwood-Shrev - Shreveport
Round 2 - #2 Captain Shreve - Shreveport
Round 3 - #7 St. Paul's - Covington
Round 4 - #3 Catholic BR - Baton Rouge

Gotta be one of the more impressive playoff runs in recent history if Rummel wins next week after being on road entirety of playoffs.

Blocker is gone now and a few huge lineman. That offense ran through Blocker.

Acadiana at Holy Cross, SLU, tonight… BRING DAT WOOD!

Good thing this is on VSN tonight. If it were the Acadiana play by play guys I’d have to stick a hot poker in my ears. Those guys make Mr. Bitter sound like Kirk Herbstreit. Terrible.

On the surface yes, but they’re still a relatively small school and don’t seem to have a lot of top tier college prospects. But yet they appear to be consistently good above their class/division. If it was just a matter of controlling their numbers and drawing talent from a big area you think you would see more of their players on the recruiting services.

The kids they do pull typically come from the river parishes (Laplace, Lutcher, Destrehan). A vast majority of those kids would not get the same opportunities at their local schools. The kids, their parents and the coaching staff all understand that and get the most out of each kid.

Walker could have tackled better but they played as well as they could vs Ruston.

Walker didn’t have the OL or DL to compete with Ruston. Getting gashed on runs and zero time to pass; sacked/hit as soon as Walker’s QB hit depth.

28-17 in the 4th until the bottom fell out with a KOR TD for Ruston, a scoop and score, and a fumble inside Walker’s 10 blew the game wide open.

I was there. He was a man amongst boys.

What is a free streaming option that won't give my computer a disease?

I would just pay ten bucks and watch it on VSN (varsity sports now app) and just cancel (can still use it for rest of the month). It’s about the price of a ticket anyway.

Holy Cross with the Scrappy Osby special, leads Acadiana 7-0

PS: the PA announcer referred to Ezekiel Hypolite as Hypoleet.

Turnover on downs. Acadiana just running the dive every time and getting to work.

Really has been a thing of beauty.
