Did you post the wrong picture or something? That’s at the 28 yard line

Or am I missing something?

I’m not a Curtis fan by any means and it’s always a good day when they lose, but there was some shady shite going on with that game clock on Catholic’s last drive as well.

Every time the ball was snapped, it wouldn’t immediately start ticking. Whoever was controlling the clock waited a good second and half to start rolling it.

Go back and replay the Curtis stream on their YouTube.

STM vs Shaw is going to be a hell of a game. I may have to go root on my Cougars

RB Tiger!!!! You sound a little upset. Zachary should win. They have one school and get players from Zachary and neighboring areas I hear!

May be lining up for another 4-4A matchup in the Dome, maybe an LCA-STM State Championship rematch.

Dutchtown was at the 28 yard line with just 27 seconds left in 1st half.

Nah don't think they would have scored. Very subjective + Just like they NEVER even scored in the entire 2nd half.

Indeed, I expect a much better game than earlier this season.

There is a shadow under the player. That means he is not on the ground there. You could argue he gave himself up for the 1.5 seconds that ticked off the clock before he ran for the touchdown, but the down not down being “obvious” actually wasn’t looking at that still shot.

As a casual observer can someone tell me why St Charles Catholic is always so good?

Refs called against Curtis the whole game and flat out cheated on Catholic's last drive from the clock frickery to the clearly out of bounds reception. That crew should be suspended.

Only catholic school in the area maybe? I reckon they pull from a pretty big territory.

Nebraska clock operator must have flown in. Entire play (12 seconds) didn't run off. Iowa got the ball and ended up kicking the winner as time expired.

They’re mad that time was put back on the clock but that’s because they would unnecessarily run time off after multiple plays in the last few minutes.

The catch on the sidelines with 10 seconds left was a bad call. It wasn’t on 4th down, and it wasn’t the touchdown catch. Everything else seemed fair.

High school refs are bad for the most part. Doesn’t matter where you go. It is what it is.
