I don't get complaining about the PA guy because he spoils a fake punt... how does he know what it is faster than anyone else in the stadium?
Calling the action is okay with me... just be classy and don't highlight players for bad plays

You obviously didn't go to the game...
I wasn't just the fake punt call, it was all the excessive other useless babbling during the game... It was quite irritating....

press box birds eye view - huge difference from field level view....

I hate PA guys that talk while the play is going on. Just announce the important things once the play has ended and don't yell in the mic

During the WM game, nothing was done despite coaches pointing out the kids' scrapes and eyes bleeding.

for one, there are only bleachers on one side of Zephyr stadium, the side that the announcer happened to be on. On top of that, the upper deck section cuts off at about midfield, which is about where the play happened. So its not like everyone can see it. Tough sight lines at ground level.
secondly, the player had a wide open right side after receiving the ball as the up back. Before he even got to the line of scrimmage the PA announcer had announced that it was a fake. Rummel got the 1st down but Curtis converged on him rather quickly considering how much green was out in front of him

JJ, get them to send the clip or clips of 15's dirty plays to Bonine.
He will face disciplinary action for what he did against Rummel because it was caught plain as day by Cox, and our tight shot. If they get some footage vs. West Monroe, that'll show everyone that the twitter apology is absolute crap as well, like most knew it was from the start.
Somebody is clearly condoning the behavior over there. If not JT, then one of the other 87 people "coaching" on their sideline is.
Also Marlon Favorite pretty much condoning it on Cox Sports isn't too good for him either.

Favorite probably made 30 tackles at lsu and 25 of those were by the face mask.

I don't think Favorite exactly condoned it, but he did make an excuse for the kid saying "I get that it's the playoffs, and the kid's emotions are running high"...

Meh if any team has intelligent well coached players that would sniff a fake quickly, it would be Curtis... with or without the PA'S help

Rummel faked the punt inside their own 20. The fact that the upback went 17 yards tells me they didn't sniff it out.
The PA guy probably didnt help them, but the fact he started screaming fake literally when the upback took the snap was pretty bush league. It was just in poor taste and icing on the cake for him giving play by play the whole fricking game

Best part about the fake punt, Curtis was called for facemask adding another 15...
