There should be a TON of points scored in that Zachary / Parkway game.

Parkview back to the dome again. The number 1 program in Baton Rouge marches on.
If not for a bullshite officiating move before half to stop the clock for no reason and let u high run one more play for a TD then PBS wins by 3 td's.

Will be a good one next week with PBS and STM. STM left at least 14 more points on the field. Played a great defensive game against one of the best qb's in the state. PBS had an even more impressive win.

SU lab going to the dome too.

That makes 3 BR schools going so far.

This playoff split sucks soooo bad. We're missing out on some potentially awesome games that could of happened.

Rummel 2-0 against Curtis and breaks their 19 game Dome streak. A new king in Metairie?

Rummel not only had to fight Curtis, but the refs as well. They were doing everything in their power to keep Curtis in the game.

Rummel has 2 easy TD's taken back and the final score should have been 38-10. One was a phantom holding call and the other was saying the receiver stepped out of bounds at the 10 yard line.

Looking forward to Rummel/Catholic next week!

Yeah should be a real good one.
STM has a very talented qb who has some offers on the table from D2/D1AA schools.
I think parkview's non district schedule(Catholic, Riverside, John Curtis) and playing U high twice will have them battle hardened and ready.

I missed the 2nd half. But the first half the refs missed NOTHING

I was standing 10 feet away. Rummel driving towards the clock and the call was on the JC side of the field? That one?

It was one of the worst grab and restrictions I have seen in a long time. Completely obvious and at the point of attack.

The referee crew doing the Parkview/University was worse than Helen Keller.

atleast it didn't cost the game, PBS was stellar in the 2nd half 20-7 scoring in 2nd half to put UHigh away for good.

They really were. The end of 1st half debacle was ridiculous. The worst call/occurrence I've ever seen in my life.
Parkview running game and defense was on another level in second half. The fullback for PBS, number 1, was an absolute bull to tackle.

It won't be pretty for Catholic, but at least they can act like they're elite for another 20 years, like they have since their last arse whoopin in the Dome.

The worst part about it is they didn't even know how to handle the situation nor did they know the rules. If they felt that the PBS player was lying on the UHS player to stall, they should have thrown the flag for delay of game, allowed the clock to expire, then assess a half the distance penalty and given one untimed down. It would have resulted in a TD anyway but the whole situation was a clusterfrick.
On another note, the player in question wasn't even lying on a UHS player.

Classless as can be for being a "Christian" school for one. Excluding some of the Curtis family, there is nothing Christian about that school. When you lose, your true colors show, and they showed theirs at the end of the game.

Rummel turned around at the end of the game to allow Curtis to sing their alma mater and fight song. As Rummel was singing theirs, Curtis was walking off the field towards the bus. There was also plenty of trash talk by their players throughout the week.

I am glad Rummel and Roth broke their 19 game Dome streak, and put them in their place after 50 somewhat years of trash talk.

Chill, bro. It's still just a game played by 15-18 year old teenagers

Also, when Mayet, the head coach of PBS asked the white hat for an explanation of the call he gave zero answer. He simply would not answer why they made the call they did.
Kudos to PBS for regaining their heads at halftime and coming out and playing some sharp, strong football in the second half.

You jelly? So what year did Catholic knock your team out of the playoff?

Though yeah, probably won't be pretty next week. I wouldn't be surprised if Weiner hangs it up after.

Well I wasn't at the game, but I did watch the game via Curtis's feed. Their guy doing the play by play, who I'm guessing probably reads this board (if you do, nice job and very classy in defeat), was showering rummel with praise and saying the better team won. Danny wimprine was also doing the game, and he had a lot of compliments about rummel too, though you could tell it was hard for him to do. He did throw a few backhanded compliments in there but whatever. Also a few JC coaches tipped their hat to rummel as well.

At the end of the day, JC wanted Rummel and the Catholic League. Good job good effort but ya gotta bring it harder
