You may see an increase in smaller school division playoff teams

they don't need any more than what they've got

my thing is, a lot of high school fans watch other leagues and sports where teams don't make the playoffs sometimes even though their record may have been pretty good, and they think high school is supposed to work like that.

but those leagues are eroding (NFL going from 6 to 7 teams in a conference, MLB going from two to four to five to eight teams in a league making it last year, though they'll probably go back to five, NBA going from 8 to 10 with the addition of the play-ins, College football bowls, the college basketball tournament going from 64 to 65 to 68 teams)

The NFHS announcers need to take course on Louisiana surnames and places before calling these games, lol

Do you need a subscription or is there a way to watch for free?

Is anyone else having issues watching any of the games on NFHS? The feed keeps buffering and won’t play for me. My internet is fine, as everything else is working perfectly normal, but for some reason, I can’t watch these games.

I've watched two games, they are SOOOO bad. Unsure of outs, calling players wrong names, zero information about how teams did during the season, no pitch identification. These guys are doing the bare minimum and can't even make it entertaining.

Guy calling the Opelousas Catholic game mispronounced Tony Chachere.

They should hire me.

I’ll do it for cheaper than whatever the guys are making.

St. Pierre from Lutcher throws an 11k no-hitter to beat Brusly and move on to the championship game. What a feeling that must be.

So St Charles Catholic wins DII championship in 2019, and then moves down because they lost 12 seniors and complained about enrollment dropping and losing kids to Destrahan, moves down to DIII, wins their district and is now playing for the DIII Title?

I'm hopeful in a few years we get to see the first OC alum suit up for LSU.
