How many times has WM traveled this year? How will they adjust to not having their band blowing their instruments on every down, or their student section yelling at the top of their lungs when the opposing team is on the goaline? Or the loud arse jumbotron? None of that shite for the dome.
There is a reason they used to refer to it as the “West Monroe invasion” when they would go to New Orleans. Aside from the jumbo-tron WM will have everything you listed in the Dome.
WM travels as well as anyone in the state.

Welsh in the non select 2a championship after losing 57-0 to Notre Dame this year and won 2a after losing to them 49-0 last year. The split is wack

It is whack but wouldn't you agree that Notre Dame does clearly have an advantage in selecting kids?
The biggest issues with public/private lie in 2A-3A
1A, 4A, 5A will all be competitive as a mix group

I mean Notre dame has been 400 students or less of 95% unathletic white kids who outwork everyone for the last 20 years so no I dont think they have the power to "select kids".

Also, that exact attitude is why the split happened, just because some teams have better coaching and programs than public schools doesnt mean they cheat. Pretty weak approach to competition.

You can day a lot of things about WM but there's no denying that they have the best fan base in the entire state

For sure. Much better than the fanbase of a certain blue-blood school in West Lafayette.

WMs defense is playing with a purpose, they are laying some hard hits out on field.
This is one of the hardest hitting defenses I have seen at WM in a long time.
WMs defensive line had the JE QB running for his life most of the game, sacked him several times, had about 4 INTs, several batted passes.
I think the JE QB was something like 14-40 on his passing.
Running game was almost none existent.
WMs DBs were playing solid coverage all game, JE had some good WRs. One DB had a pick-6 on an amazing run back.
WM offense played ball control offense and wore out JE by the mid-third quarter. WM mixed it up very well to keep the JE defense off-balance all game long.
The LB, #1 was not really a factor, he a few tackles.
For WM to shut-out JE is a huge statement.
JE has beat some good teams, Destrehan, Landry Walker, East Ascension.
Lots of respect for John Ehret, they are a very good team and played a good clean game.
Band was great and the fans were a classy bunch.
Looking forward to a good game against Zachary.

Zachary vs West Monroe is the matchup everyone wants to see. Lots of star power, great coaches, a clash of philosophies and North vs. South. Lots of big game experience and excited fan bases. Deserves to be broadcast live throughout the state as a testament to how good HS football can be when the commitment is there.

The same kings that lost to U-Lab and Catholic?

U High is favored against any team in Louisiana. Catholic can play with anyone and ZHS was down an entire LB Corp. WM fanboys are the Bama fan of Louisiana high school football. Except no championship in recent memory.

I’d say Acadiana fans are more like Bama fans tbh.

Won’t argue that acadiana fan doesn’t know how to act either.
