You keep trying to downplay their talent by comparing them to st aug and then by saying Curtis is so deep and well coached.

I mean did you see the team or not? They are nothing like st aug or karr. They are as well coached as anyone at that time. WM has never beaten them when it mattered.

They sent a kid to LSU, Texas, OU, Tenn, USC and had several others sign with schools like Texas tech

Yes I think they are 10-14 pts better than this JC team. They are bigger and stronger and faster at positions that matter.

Now you are dropping it down to 10 pts? Is next only 7 pts? Dude, you are not hearing what I am saying. That team was amazing. What I am saying is that the type of ball Curtis plays, the role players (especially for the run), and the coaching staff would make a contest between the two a last possession type game.

You are overrating the talent on that team, it is very comparable to what Curtis has now. The X-Factor would be Booty but Curtis might be better at all other positions. Jonathan Wade was fast but he wasnt that great of a player, Bachaman(sp?) was a pretty good receiver.I dont even remember who signed with Texas and Oklahoma from that team. Unless you are talking about the other qb.Hester was stout, but Curtis has three d-1 linebackers on this team.

If I had to guess he played on the team from Rummel that last to Evangel in the semis 41-10 in 2001.

Tristen Ross WR to OU

Pittman to TX then LSU

They had Wade at CB, big DT that went to TX Tech with Bachman and another DE that went to TCU

People always labeled Wade as not that good yet somehow always plays wherever he goes including the NFL
This was Bootys Soph year I think though he was the age of a normal JR

I was out of school by then. I don't see why it matters anyway. This team was awesome

They beat the shite out of WM too. And beat them the year before too. Say what you will.

OK, enough about teams from 10 years ago.

Would anybody in this field be able to play with Curtis? Karr/Neville? Rummel?

Does anyone know if they serve beer in the Dome for the state championship games?

Not sure because it is a high school event.

2a is extremely weak

Yet Calvary beat 5A semi finalist West Monroe this year, and ECA lost by 1 to 5A finalist Barbe, at Barbe, when they went for 2 to try and get the win at the end of a shootout. Maybe the lower seeded teams weren't very good in 2A, but the top few would be competitive with any of the top teams from other classifications. Curtis dressed out 101 kids against Springfield, it's not like anyone has more depth than that.

Op walker had st aug talent & coaching and they beat them

Curtis won the one that mattered that year though

and even crazier, I think that is the only district title Curtis didn't win outright since the mid 70's.

Ticket Info

This link discusses ticket options:

$16 for plaza level (general admission)
$19 for club level (reserved)
$25 for suite level

Does anybody know how the suite level tickets work? Perhaps you can't get these anymore...I called ticketmaster and they were no help. TIA

To purchase suite tickets, you need access to a suite before you are allowed to purchase. Suite owners are given ticket order forms. They are not sold on ticketmaster. Suite tickets are a little more, but it sure is nice to be able to lounge around between games. You can also buy/drink beer in the suites.
