If I ever get convicted of a serious crime, I would pray that the penalty decision would fall in the hands of the LHSAA!
I bet the senior football players at Parkway High School would disagree with you on this. They are being hammered for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

Head coach not penalized
Is this some type of fricking joke?
Head coach was innocent in this? The assistants installed the defense and taught the calls without the head coaches knowledge? Shameful.

The head coach was not involved. To my knowledge, most of the guys in trouble are on the offensive side (luquet, sentiles, boyne).
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but there is a coach at destrehan that coached at south lafource that got access to all of this. Sad to see a team that did not need the help get deprived of their possible run at a championship because of the coaches.
I'm hearing a report that they will be banned from the playoffs. Is that not the case?

Hopefully the Superintendent sees through the lies and takes action on the head coach because if it is left up to the school nothing will happen. Someone in the school system told me tonight that the board is taking action against 9 coaches but I am skeptical about that.
If a head coach doesnt know what his team and staff is doing he should be fired for incompetence.

Bull fricking shite. If not he still needs to pay some price for "allowing" it to happen.
If Destrehan has any pride, they will blow-up the whole staff. But we all know that will not happen.

UPDATE: THREE MORE DESTREHAN COACHES CHARGED WITH ACCESSING SOUTH LAFOURCHE ACCOUNT
Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre reported three more Destrehan High School assistant football coaches have been charged after admitting to accessing information about the South Lafourche High School football program through a website without permission. Wayne Sentilles (W/M, D.O.B. 07/20/81) of Montz, Daniel Laquet (W/M, D.O.B. 05/14/83) of Luling, and Greg Boyne (W/M, D.O.B. 07/27/72) of Hahnville each admitted to accessing the website to gain information on the South Lafourche game plan prior to Destrehan's 49-24 win on Friday, October 25.
Earlier on Wednesday, another Destrehan assistant coach, Ryan Fournier (W/M, D.O.B. 12/12/83), and his girlfriend Emily Guidry (W/F, D.O.B. 05/14/84), both of Larose, were charged with the same offense after admitting to obtaining the login credentials for the www.hudl.com website in order to access video of South Lafourche football practices. Fournier also admitted to utilizing the information he had obtained during Destrehan's 49-24 win over South Lafourche High School on Friday, October 25.
All five have been charged with Offenses against Intellectual Property (R.S. 14:73.2), and each was issued a criminal summons. Penalties for the first offense of this crime include a fine of not more than $500.00 or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
Detectives are continuing their investigation into this incident.

Is no one going to mention how incredibly absurd it is that these people are being brought up on criminal charges for this?
Posted on 10/30/13 at 10:06 pm to GEAUXmedic
5 arrests and only 1 thus far with a Luling home address. Need to remember there are two other IP addresses located in the Luling area. If the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Dept keeps investigating, could prove to be bad news for the head coach if his home address is in Luling.

If you have read my previous posts, you should be able to determine as to who is at fault for having to go via the criminal charge route to solve this issue

It's our local channel 5. They show all Central & South Lafourche home games on it.
Gotta sit through a half hour of homecoming crap first.

I agree with you about Parkway. The only person punished should have been the principal. But the LHSAA is in the middle of the most tumultuous time in its history, "the split" , because they don't aggressively investigate complaints and mete out severe punishment when it is necessary.

The LPSO really spent time and energy investigating this?

Yes, that is the only way they could obtain the ip addresses, etc.
But if the story about the nephew giving up the login credentials is true, what laws were broken? It's not like they hacked into the website.

SL had the IP addresses which made the improper access and wanted an investigation of who was behind it. When the LHSAA tried to bury this, the turned it over to the sheriff for investigation.
If BJ Guzzardo had gotten off his lazy arse to do more than ask the Destrehan staff "Did you do it?", no law enforcement would be involved.

No, SL Administration was able to obtain the IP information directly from Hudle, after being told by BJ Guzzardo first they could not obtain this info and then being told by him that they would have to pay to obtain the information and lastly, being told by him that SL would incur all defense costs from DHS after it was proven that the SL charges were incorrect if SL pursued this via the legal system. I am telling you guys he did everything in his power to sweep this under the rug.
I am not in law enforcement, but they were charged with Offenses against Intellectual Property (R.S. 14:73.2). I would have to guess this is the same as reading emails that were sent to you in error and not notifying the sender you received the email in error when there is a notice at the bottom of the email?
