So as far as suspending coaches til further notice... Are they allowed to play without a certain amount of coaches? Do they find replacements?

Proper punishment is that Robichaux is fired and DHS has to take Lou Valdin as their coach.

When I was in HS someone taped our monday practice and sent it to the team we were playing that week. Though I still don't know why considering that team probably would have beat us pretty handily anyway.

I vaguely remember something about a school in Lafayette Parish, I think it was Acadian,a alledging that another school filmed their practice from an apt building behind the stadium

ETA: this would have been back in the 80s

I agree with that, Steve Crovetto was good also but didn't stay long.Watching them each week though, seems the game has passed Lou by or he's just tired. Teams are not disciplined and out of shape.

Gros was a mean SOB but a heck of a coach. Darren was the best of them all though, his teams were always prepared well and tough as nails. They played the game hard just like he did.

I remember as a kid watching hahnville and pregame they would all line up in a big circle with Barbier in the middle and all the ayers would run and converge on him like they were smashing him.
Glory Days of HHS.

Valdin has lost it IMO. It's time for a change.

Suspensions may be longer

quote:

Those suspensions may be longer than the LHSAA’s penalty, as the St. Charles Parish School Board has indefinitely suspended each coach involved, as well.
